What had to happen happened… Stromae already worried many fans on April 4, 2023 when he announced that he needed “to make a break” on his tour. But this Tuesday, May 9, it is indeed the final cessation of “Multitude Tower” that the Belgian singer made official… A month earlier, it was through a press release that the 38-year-old artist shared the bad news.
“Auguri Productions and Mosaert label regret to announce the cancellation of the Stromae concerts scheduled until May 2023”could we read in the press release relayed by the interpreter of “Tremendous”. The latter, taking the floor himself to explain himself: “I must resign myself to the fact that my health unfortunately does not allow me to continue to come to meet you for the moment”.
“I share this news with you with great sadness. But I have to listen to my limits…” he admitted in April before trying to reassure his community: “I have to take the time to recover to resume, when I can. The rest of the concerts”.

Time did nothing…
Unfortunately, despite the time taken for himself, Stromae will not be able to return. He announced it again through a press release, this Tuesday, May 9, on his social networks. The companion of Coralie Barbier first expressed his happiness to have found his fans: “The multitude album and the tour we launched together […] I felt immense happiness to find you on stage since the beginning of this tour and to share this adventure with all the teams who designed this exceptional show by my side”.
A few lines later, the artist recalled the health concerns he has had to face for a few months. A state of health which deteriorated and which forced him to take a break from his tour. While he “hoped to be able [se] recover quickly to get back on the road and find [ses fans] as soon as possible”the 38-year-old artist could not win this fight…
Stromae cancels its “Multitude Tour”
“Unfortunately, today I have to accept that this time of rest and remission will be longer than I imagined”he admitted before announcing the bad news: “It is therefore with immense regret that I will not be able to honor my promise and that I am announcing the end of the Multitude Tour today”.
A “difficult” decision for the interpreter of “Tremendous” but which he cannot go against. He did not fail to apologize to his community and thank him for their support so far.
