Striker Olivier Giroud, top scorer in the history of the French football team, will leave the Italian club AC Milan and join Los Angeles FC, in MLS, next season, management learned on Tuesday April 23 of sports from Radio France to the player’s entourage, confirming information from RMC.
Olivier Giroud, aged 37 and at the end of his contract with the Lombard club, will join the Californian club until December 2025. Within the American franchise, he will then join his former captain and teammate in the French team Hugo Lloris.
The striker joined AC Milan in 2021, from Chelsea. In three seasons, he played 121 matches and scored 46 goals. This season, he has scored 13 goals and provided 8 assists with the Rossoneri.
