“Stomach cancer”, Jean-Pascal Lacoste (Star Academy) makes a sad announcement

This Friday February 23, 2024,
Jordan Luxury
received
Jean-Pascal Lacoste
on the set of At Jordan’s. The opportunity for Delphine Tellier’s companion to look back on his time at the star Academy

to talk about the death of his father, but also to lift the veil on his mother’s health. For several years, Sylviane Lacoste has indeed suffered fromstomach cancer. An illness that the former academician clearly has difficulty accepting.

“My mom has cancer”he revealed before adding: “She’s not well but she’s coping”. In shock, the star of Channel 8 tried to learn more. And if the father of three children did not want to visit his father when he was in a coma, he must now support his mother in this difficult ordeal.

“Unfortunately this is the life of many people today and I find myself a little more courageous because I went to see her in the hospital, but I take it upon myself because I am a very cowardly person to that”, he confided. And to continue: “VS‘is an extraordinary woman, she educated us very well, she worked a lot and it’s sad becauseshe was retired just a few years ago and then she falls ill… We have to let time take its course. She is a very courageous woman.”

“It was a vegetable”

Shortly before this confidence, Jean-Pascal Lacoste also returned to the death of his father. I was in Paris, it was a firefighter friend who told me that he was massaging my father, he told me to sit down. […] I’m a very cowardly person when it comes to all that. My father was in a coma for eight months. It was a vegetable. I went to the hospital for ten seconds, I saw him with tubes in his mouth and I left. […] I didn’t go to the funeral home or any of that stuff. I went to church out of respect for my mother, but otherwise I wouldn’t have gone. I’m waiting for the end of the week, he’ll be back Friday…” An interview full of emotions.
