Star Wars, a musical parody earned Productions de l’Épopée the prize for the most exceptional French-language comedy given by the Théâtre de la Comédie de Montréal and the People’s Choice award given by the Fringe.
The show presented in June condensed episodes 4, 5 and 6 of the famous intergalactic saga, that is to say the one where Luke Skywalker faces his father and his destiny.
With few means, but millions of good ideas, enthusiasm and a tasty sense of derision, the troupe led by Catherine Bastien put on a hilarious and witty show. All punctuated by musical numbers, choreography and lightsaber battles!
Star Wars, a musical parody, will resume this fall. The dates of the next performances will be announced at a later date.
