New York Rangers center Mika Zibanejad got the most votes among players in the Metropolitan Division. However, he chose not to participate in the event for personal reasons. Guentzel, who finished second in the ballot, will take his place.

This will be the seventh All-Star Game appearance for Stamkos, who has 46 points (18 goals and 28 assists) in 39 games this season.

Guentzel, who has 20 goals and 18 assists in 32 games, is invited to the All-Star Game for a second time, having participated in the 2020 one.

Kadri (14 goals, 35 assists in 33 games) and Terry (22 goals, 14 assists in 38 games) will experience their first All-Star Game.

NHL All-Star Weekend will take place February 4-5 in Las Vegas.
