After a long six-month mission in space, Thomas Pesquet and three other astronauts have finally set out for Earth. They will be back on the night of November 9 after a long and trying journey.
After a 6-month mission in space, Thomas Pesquet is finally back on Earth. While his return was expected a few days before, the weather conditions have pushed back his departure. This time, the green light has been given, it should set foot on the ground again in a few hours. The four astronauts have finalized details in place before their return this afternoon. Moving farewells that we could see through a picture of Thomas Pesquet hugging his jumpsuit that should bring him back to earth.
A busy schedule awaits our four astronauts. The start of the trip at 28,000 km / h, then a rather brutal descent when entering the atmosphere. TO 10 km above sea level, the parachutes will finally be deployed to prepare for Thomas’ landing Pesquet in the ocean off Florida. Before leaving, Thomas Pesquet expressed all his pride in having been able to represent France in space, on Twitter. The latter also left doubt on his next missions.
