Plus the first episode of season 2 of Yellowjackets approach, the more cast members tease fans using snippets and photos. This is the case of Sophie Nélisse who presents her “very pregnant” Shauna in a new short video.
This new excerpt concocted by Entertainment Weekly offers a sequence shot presenting each of the main characters as teenagers, then at the adulthood of Yellowjackets.
It opens with Quebecer Sophie Nélisse whose character Shana appears several months pregnant, still stuck in the mysterious forest in the heart of winter. We then see the other main characters and their adult counterparts against a background of disturbing music. In the distance, voices repeat “We hear the wilderness and the wilderness hears us” menacingly.
The video promotes a report by Entertainment Weekly magazine following a visit to the series’ set in Vancouver. ” Yellowjackets prepares (*fans) for an intense season 2”, titles the magazine.
As the character mourns the loss of her best friend, Sophie Nélisse told the magazine, “Due to the circumstances, she’s not really coping like you normally would.”
As young Shauna is pregnant, various viewer theories have been tossed around for a while; including the one that the survivors would eat the baby. A line that the creators said they did not wish to cross.
“They’re not going to eat the baby,” explained the 22-year-old actress, before adding, “But beheading dogs? Totally. »
The series follows a women’s soccer team stuck in a (haunted?) forest for 19 months following the crash of their plane. It notably stars Christina Ricci and Juliette Lewis. Lord of the Rings actor Elijah Wood and Quebecer François Arnaud will join the cast of the second season.
