Quebec City speed skaters Antoine Gélinas-Beaulieu and Béatrice Lamarche finished Saturday with medals in the 1,500m in front of their fans at the Canadian Long Track Speed Skating Championships being held at the Intact Insurance Ice Centre.

Gélinas-Beaulieu, who had participated in the Beijing Olympics, finished the race in 1:45.094, more than a second less than his personal best, behind Connor Howe who gave a time of 1:44.770.
