Police were back Friday morning in the same area of Deux-Montagnes, northwest of Montreal, where they had gone last Tuesday morning to respond to complaints of gunshots.
A spokesperson for the Régie de Police du Lac des Deux-Montagnes told news media that the house that was fired upon on Friday may be occupied by a family member of the former construction contractor, Tony Accurso, but that verifications had to be made to confirm this information and also the identity of the owner of the premises.
The house is located on 15 Avenue, near the intersection of Boulevard du Lac, in a residential area. Patrol cars are blocking access to the stretch of street where the shooting occurred.
Last Tuesday, another house where a family of two adults and children lives was the target of firearm projectiles in the same area; There are no casualties.
On Friday, complaints of detonations lodged around 2:00 a.m. at the 911 emergency telephone exchange led the police to 15th Avenue. There were no injuries and it appears no one was in the house when she was targeted.
Investigators and crime scene technicians from the Régie de Police du Lac des Deux-Montagnes had to comb through the scene during the day.
