Julien Doré, Patrick Fiori, Kendji Girac, and Louane land on TF1 on August 20 to launch the new season of The Voice Kids. A season which promises to be, once again, full of surprises and which will bring many tears to the cheeks of the viewers, but also of the coaches. Indeed, the channel unveiled some images before launching the show officially, in order to keep fans waiting. In one of them, we were able to observe a totally collapsed Louane after having attended the performance of a young boy.
And it is not for nothing that the interpreter of I fly couldn’t hold back her tears.“This song changed my life, I wouldn’t be here today if this song hadn’t existed. What you did was sublime”she confided between two sobs after hearing a cover of A happy man by William Sheller. This title was none other than the one she performed during her passage in the adult version, in 2013, which had allowed her to return the four coaches and continue the adventure.
Not yet ready for the next step
Turning around after being seduced by the notes and the voice of an adult talent… This is something Louane might never witness. Indeed, in an interview with TV 7 Daysthe one who finally agreed to become a coach in The Voice Kids confessed that she would probably never make the adult version. “I don’t want to be the decision maker in someone’s life”she confides before explaining that she feels much more comfortable with children for a specific reason: “because there is no challenge or pressure. They are not there to change their lives”.
Indeed, Julien Doré’s colleague specifies that “when you’re an adult, yes, you expect that”. Louane does not yet feel capable, by his “choice and tastes”of “to decide someone’s life” : “I don’t feel capable of it”. A state of mind that Julien Doré joined, always during the same interview.
