(Hollywood) Police respond to a shooting near the beach promenade in Hollywood, Florida.
Videos posted to Twitter on Monday evening show emergency medical teams responding and providing aid to several injured people.
Nine people were injured, police said. No deaths have been reported. At least three of the victims are believed to be minors, CBS reported.
A preliminary investigation shows an altercation between two groups resulted in gunfire, police said. One person has been arrested and another suspect is still wanted.
Police said there would be a heavy police presence as the investigation continues. Authorities have also set up a space for family members to gather.
Hollywood Beach is a popular beach destination about 17 miles south of Fort Lauderdale and 32 miles north of Miami.
