Several hundred deputies, all labels combined, have been pre-registered for the National Rally without their knowledge, confirms the party after information from the newspaper Le Parisien. According to the RN, they all received on the night of Sunday April 16 to Monday April 17 an e-mail confirming their alleged application for membership. The party will file a complaint.

An automated “malicious act”

The National Rally assures that there was “no hacking” and that the data concerning their members did not leak. It is, according to the party, a “malicious act” carried out under a cover IP address, and in an automated way, via the membership form on their site. The RN recalls that the email addresses of the deputies are available on the site of the National Assembly.

The Vosges deputy David Valence, of the presidential majority, announces on Twitter that he will file a complaint this Tuesday, at the Saint-Dié-des-Vosges police station.
