Several hundred demonstrators gathered this Monday evening, since 6:30 p.m., at Place Saint-Augustin, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, to denounce the Israeli strike on Rafah, in the Gaza Strip, according to the France Inter journalist on site.
It was the pro-Palestinian activist and LFI candidate in the European elections, Rima Hassan, who called for this gathering. The rally will then turn into a march towards the Israeli embassy in Paris, in the 8th arrondissement.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told parliament on Monday that the Israeli strike on Rafah the day before was “a tragic accident.” The toll stands at at least 45 dead and 250 injured, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
