A serial killer could be responsible for six murders, according to authorities investigating the women’s deaths in Portland, Oregon.
From February to May, the bodies of six victims were found within a radius of 160 kilometers in wooded areas or isolated rural areas, according to an article in the “New York Post”.
Police are working together to try to determine if the crimes have the same perpetrator, according to a spokesperson for the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office which is investigating one of the deaths.
“As we do with all investigations of this nature, our detectives are following every lead in this case, including several tips from the public and comments made on social media,” the spokesperson said. We are working with our partner agencies to determine if there are any links between this case in Clackamas County and others in the area.”
The last victim, Ashley Real, 22, was found in the Eagle Creek area on May 7, about forty kilometers from Portland.
