This was admitted by the minister responsible for seniors, Marguerite Blais, on Tuesday.

She was reacting to an exit from a coalition which deplored that the elders had been infantilized since March 2020.

During question period, Liberal MP Monique Sauvé relayed their complaints.

She recalled that the Health Commissioner had also deplored the infantilization of the elderly.

In response, Mr.me Blais recalled that the government wanted to protect seniors at the worst of the first wave.

It could be, according to her, that the government has made a form of ageism.
