The second stage of the Tour de France for women takes place in Seine et Marne. Cyclists start from Meaux to finish at Provinces. And for this occasion, roads will therefore be closed. The runners will cross 37 municipalities of Seine-et-Marne.
In Meaux, the departure will be at 12:50 p.m. at the Great War museum. They will join the avenue du Maréchal Joffre to then cross between the districts of the Croix Saint-Loup and the Faubourg Saint-Nicolas via the avenue de la République.
Several diversions
Cyclists will then take the D360 crossing the Jean Bureau bridge, to take off on avenue François de Tessan towards Nanteuil-les-Meaux via the D2228 which will therefore be closed. Then they will go through Bowlers and Crecy-la-Chapellebefore taking the D21 towards Villeneuve-le-Comte town centre. The D231 and the N36 will be blocked from the Obelisk in Dammartin-sur-Tigeaux and up to Villeneuve-le-Comte and Voulangis. A diversion has been put in place for this sector.
They will then take the D96, go through Neufmoutiers-en-Brie, Chatres, Coubert before recovering the D471 and going through the castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte and pedal on the D215 up to the level of Blandy. The D57 will be closed from Champeaux to La-Chapelle-Gauthier. The D408 also going to Nangis where several diversions are planned.
The race will finally head towards the D619 which joins Provinces. Diversions are also in place at Chenoise-Cucharmoy and on the D412 at Mouy-sur-Seine.
