While the United Nations fears that an earthquake or a tsunami will hit the Mediterranean, scientists are studying the craters buried under the water of the sea.

Scientists have recently measured a worrying increase in underwater activity. This instability raises fears of a violent eruption and potentially a tsunami. By diving scientists have proven that the underwater volcanoes observed are linked to the same source of magma as Stromboli, the most impressive of Italian volcanoes.
