On September 19, on the set of “C à vous” (France 5), Sandrine Rousseau declared that Julien Bayou had behaved “of a nature to break the moral health of women”. The former boss of the Greens for his part denied these accusations, assuring be “fully mobilized in the fight against violence against women”.
“I just said that woman was in pain”Sandrine Rousseau explained on Saturday. “Who should I be loyal to? To my party, as a structure? Or should I be loyal to women’s voices? I chose to be loyal to women’s voices and since then it’s been my non-stop trial”she says again.
The Green Party, for its part, reported that “the cell was seized in July 2022 for a report concerning Julien Bayou” and adds that she “works at his own pace and with the sole concern of seeking the truth” and, “depending on the urgency and seriousness of the alleged facts, it may decide on precautionary measures”. A “audit of its operation will be carried out in February 2023, after the decision of the Federal Council of February 2022”.
