It is in the beautiful village of Saint Didier, in the Comtat Venaissin that we walk over the reports of Philippe Garcia; Saint Didier where the Château de Thézan and its marvelous park in the very heart of the village have slumbered for so many years! A little-known treasure, abandoned for a very long time, which is coming back to life thanks to its couple of owners.
Philippe Emmanuel Renoux and Pierre de Beytia bought Château de Thézan in April 2019; A crush which, in the course of their respective change of life, led them to settle there and put the means to restore this Comtadin jewel in the rules of the art with all the qualified craftsmen. Castle listed as historical monuments. Their goal: to upgrade the castle to live there, while sharing its history and its treasures with the public. 12 monumental sculptures by Etienne VIARD who works in corten steel, self-patinated steel with a beautiful rusty appearance, works exhibited since Saturday in the main courtyard and the huge garden with trees more than a hundred years old at the Château de Thézan! A heritage event combined with contemporary art at its highest level.
The Château de Thézan hosts this exceptional exhibition until September 18, every Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Entrance 4 and 3€.
