Rugby World Cup 2023: Avignon will host Uruguay

For the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France, the delegations of the various participating teams had the choice between three cities to settle there. Uruguay had to choose between Aix-en-Provence, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Avignon and it was the latter that they chose. They will install their suitcases there from August 29 to October 9, 2023.

All the infrastructure necessary for the Uruguayan selection

Uruguayan rugby players will train particularly at the Avignon Sports Park, where some training sessions should be public. The national selection of Uruguay will also be able to use the omnisport complex of St Chamand and the nautical stadium. The bodybuilding sessions will take place at the Yakha sport hall in Cap Sud.
