Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro is a dad again… at the age of 79.
According AND CanadaDe Niro is the father of seven children to date.
His seventh child was born recently, the actor revealed while promoting his latest film, About my father.
The reporter chatting with him brought up fatherhood when telling him about his six children, but De Niro corrected her, saying, “Seven, actually.”
“I just had a baby,” he said.
AND Canadawho contacted the actor’s team, failed to find out the identity of the mother of De Niro’s seventh child.
De Niro had two children with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46. In 1995, he became a father to twins Julian and Aaron, now 27, with model Toukie Smith. With his ex-wife Grace Hightower, he had a son, Elliot, 24, and a daughter, Helen Grace, 11.
During his illustrious career, the actor won two Oscars, best actor for raging bull in 1981 and Best Supporting Actor for The Godfather 2 in 1975. He was also nominated six other times for the Academy Awards.
Robert De Niro will celebrate his 80th birthday on August 17.
