A road accident that occurred in Nord-du-Québec on Thursday evening caused the death of a 32-year-old passenger and injured three other people, announced Eeyou Eenou police.
The accident occurred Thursday evening on Route 113, which connects Lebel-sur-Quévillon to Chibougamau, in northern Quebec.
Four people were in the vehicle involved, two men and two women. The death of a 32-year-old woman was noted at the Waswanipi clinic, a nearby Cree community. The other injured were transported to hospitals in Lebel-sur-Quévillon and Chibougamau for treatment.
The Sûreté du Québec will be responsible for the investigation to better understand the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
