What will be the red lines of the National Rally (RN)? “We don’t want a tax increase”answers Jean-Philippe Tanguy, RN deputy for the Somme, in the “4 Vérités”, Thursday September 12. “What is needed is a reform of the State, of the French bureaucracy, to finally control immigration, to review our financial relations with the European Union”he pleads.
In the event of a tax increase in the 2025 budget, will RN deputies vote for a motion of censure? “Yes”says Jean-Philippe Tanguy, repeating that he is ”out of the question” to see taxes increase. On the other hand, if the RN is heard on its expectations, the deputy does not close the door to a vote by his group in favor of the budget: “Everything is possible. Our red lines are the defense of the French, it is the defense of the general interest.”
