A man lost his life on Saturday in a work accident in Rivière-des-Prairies.
According to initial information, the worker – whose age has not been confirmed – was carrying out insulation work.
Two inspectors from the Commission for Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work (CNESST) were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
“They will meet people and gather information to find out what happened,” said Nicolas Bégin, spokesperson for the CNESST.
The Montreal Police Department was called to the scene for assistance.
