Risk of invasion of Ukraine | Wall Street closes sharply lower

(New York) Fear of an imminent Russian invasion of Ukraine depressed the New York Stock Exchange on Friday, already feverish and looking for direction.

The Dow Jones fell 1.43%, the tech-heavy NASDAQ index lost 2.78%, and the broader S&P 500 index lost 1.90%.
