Richard Berry, very discreet lately, clashes with Dominique de Villepin: “An aging caricature”

The former Minister of the Interior, Dominique de Villepin, was the guest of the show Daily

Thursday November 23. An interview with Yann Barthès during which the one who has defended a position of balance around the Israeli-Palestinian conflict since October 7 made remarks that were no match for Richard Berry.

“We see how heavy the financial domination over the media and the world of art and music is because they can’t say what they think simply because the contracts stop immediately. So we can clearly see that the financial rule that is imposed today in the United States in cultural life weighs heavily, and unfortunately we also see it in France”declared the former prime minister in particular.

Comments commented by the actor via his Destination Cinema account: “Uninhibited anti-Semitism at Quotidien… Dominique de Villepin castigates “financial domination implicitly [traduisons-le : les juifs] on the media, art… They can’t say what they think, otherwise the contracts stop [Barrera/Scream]”, can we read.

Before in turn writing the following message addressing the politician: “Mr. de Villepin, you have become an aging caricature of yourself. Just as your horrible anti-Semitic comments are an old caricature of the Jews. Get over yourself!”

It now remains to be seen whether Dominique de Villepin will respond to the attacks of the actor who had nevertheless been discreet in recent years, particularly since the complaint of his daughter Coline Berry for sexual assault in January 2021. A complaint against the actor of 72 years closed without further action.
