La Bénédiction (champagne and grass liqueur cocktail)

Ingredients
- 30 ml (1 oz) grass liqueur (Bénédictine or Drambuie), cold
- 3 dashes of aromatic Angostura bitters
- 150 ml (5 oz) champagne or dry prosecco, cold
- 2 juniper berries, halved
- 1 long lemon zest, 6 inches (15 cm) long, scooped out using the widest part of a zester
- 1 sprig of fresh thyme
- 1 sprig of fresh dill or chervil
Preparation
1. In a stemmed glass, pour the grass liqueur. Add aromatic bitters. Complete with champagne. Add the juniper berries.
2. Make a loop with the lemon zest. Using a small cocktail pin, attach the lemon loop, thyme and dill to the outside of the glass.
