Four weeks after his escape, the most wanted man in France, Mohamed Amra and his accomplices remain untraceable, Thursday June 13. More than 300 police officers are still on his trail. While investigators continue to delve into Mohamed Amra’s past, new elements appear, particularly regarding the extreme dangerousness of the fugitive. In 2022 in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), he allegedly ordered the assassination of a rival behind bars. In June, on the heights of the city, a drug trafficker was found burned in his car.
The investigation was quickly traced back to Mohamed Amra. At that time, the inmate was having a relationship with a 27-year-old beautician, whom he had met a few months earlier. The latter borrowed the visit permit of the prisoner’s sister to regularly visit him in the visiting room. He convinced her to lend her business premises to her accomplices to kidnap the victim. Now incarcerated in the case, she claims that she was under the influence. Could the dangerousness of Mohamed Amra have been underestimated?
