In Dnipro (Ukraine), a missile completely destroyed a hydropower plant, thus depriving the region of electricity. 80 kilometers further south, in Zaporizhia, material damage was considerable in a residential area, where 6 injuries were reported. “The last shot fell in front of the house, fortunately we were not sitting in front of the window”, testifies a resident. The first strikes were heard at 5 a.m. These strikes, orchestrated in several cities in Ukraine, left at least five dead.

Children away from the front line

On the other side of the border, in Belgorod (Russia), the authorities also denounce a series of morning attacks, which left at least one dead and several injured. The governor of the region decided to evacuate the children 700 kilometers away from the border.
