Reopening of cinemas, performance halls and places of worship on Monday

(Montreal) A new phase of the easing of sanitary measures will begin on Monday in Quebec with the reopening in particular of performance halls at 50% of their capacity or a maximum of 500 people inside.

Posted at 8:45 a.m.

Unsurprisingly, the vaccination passport will be mandatory to access the premises.

As of February 7, Quebecers will also be able to resume going to the cinema, but with the same restrictions that apply to performance halls.

However, you will have to wait until February 14 for certain other cultural, artistic or leisure activities. It is therefore advisable to inquire with merchants to find out if they are indeed open.

In addition, places of worship will again be able to welcome their faithful from Monday, but at half their capacity or a total of 250 people.

The vaccination passport will be required in places of worship, except in the context of funerals and everything surrounding funeral ceremonies indoors, provided that 50 people or less are there, and this, without turnover.
