Liedermacher, poet, singer, musician, storyteller, performer, knowing how to combine sensitivity, finesse and strength of conviction, René Eglès has set himself the goal, in addition to singing his native country Alsace and its inhabitants, to contribute through his action to the safeguard and the promotion of its mother tongue, the Alsatian dialect.
Through his songs alternating humor, current affairs, laughter and serious subjects, he knows how to express his attachment to culture, heritage and dialect, convinced that Alsace is a point of meetings, exchanges and conviviality. He has published numerous records, CDs, and books.
