Rémy Daillet, a figure in ultra-right conspiracy circles, was taken from his cell on Tuesday to be taken into custody as part of an investigation into plans for attacks by the “Honor and Nation” group, franceinfo has learned Thursday, October 21 from a judicial source, confirming information from the newspaper The Parisian.
He was heard by the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI). A woman in her sixties, who presented herself as the former secretary of Rémy Daillet, was also placed in police custody. According to a source close to the investigation, he can be considered as the thinking head of this small group and of the attack projects he was scaffolding.
“The political opponent Rémy Daillet has absolutely no connection neither with the small group ‘Honor and nation’, nor with the plans of attacks which one lends to its members, which he does not know”, reacted Me Jean-Christophe Basson-Larbi, his lawyer. “The reflex of the judicial authority to mix the name of Daillet with each anti-system or protest news item is the worrying sign of the will of the political power and the French services to permanently embastile the political prisoner Rémy Daillet-Wiedemann. “ According to his advice, Rémy Daillet called “to peaceful overthrow and not to terrorism and attacks”.
Between the months of May and October, 12 people living in the entourage of the conspirator were indicted. They are suspected of having prepared violent actions, in particular against community places, Masonic lodges and the Ministry of Health, but also against 5G antennas and vaccination centers. According to a source close to the investigation, the aim of these actions was to “overthrow the institutions”. Several of these suspects are part of the entourage of the small group “Honor and nation” but are not directly attached to it “.
Rémy Daillet is particularly suspected of being involved in the kidnapping of the little girl Mia. He is indicted in this case for “complicity in the kidnapping of a minor” and placed in pre-trial detention. This 8-year-old girl was kidnapped on April 13 by several men while she was staying with her maternal grandmother in a village in the Vosges. A kidnapping alert had been triggered. It had made it possible to find the child in the commune of Sainte-Croix, in Switzerland.
