A successful introduction. The XV of France launched its Six Nations Tournament against Ireland, Saturday March 23, at Le Mans. The Blues largely won (38-17) against a team which remained on a wooden spoon last year, but which counted on the support of several septists who came to strengthen the Irish XV.
Facing Ireland, Les Bleues entered the Tournament straight to confirm their rank in the world hierarchy. They are in 3rd place, far ahead of the XV du Trèfle, 10th. Favorites in the competition with England, Manae Feleu’s teammates are now preparing for their next match, Saturday March 30 (at 3:15 p.m. live on France 2 and france.tv) against Scotland, at the Hive Stadium in Edinburgh.
