Sunwing announces the resumption of flights on the regular schedule after a major outage forced numerous delays for several days.

“We are happy to inform you that all our flights have resumed their usual schedule,” the airline wrote in a Twitter post.
The company also took the opportunity to thank its customers for their patience and understanding as it tried to remedy the situation.
However, the check-in process could be longer for the next few days, as Sunwing must fully reactivate its passenger processing system. Travelers can check the status of their flight on the airline’s website.
Last week, a flaw in the check-in system caused major delays since Monday, much to the annoyance of travelers stuck overseas and in Montreal. Hundreds of Quebec Sunwing passengers have had their flights delayed for hours and hours.
