The Administrative Housing Tribunal (TAL) indicated on Tuesday that the deadlines for the hearings of housing tenants are now reduced.
Plaintiff tenants should therefore be heard more quickly by the Court from now on, the TAL said in a press release.
This setback in the processing of cases is due to a significant drop of 56% in the number of applications awaiting a hearing, compared to 2017.
In fact, the median time for a first hearing has fallen to 3.9 months for general civil cases and to 1.3 months for the most urgent cases.
The TAL insists on the importance of preparing your file well as soon as the application is filed to avoid a postponement of the hearing, once the case has been entered on the roll.
