Reda Benchaa signs his first professional contract

After having completed all his training at the DFCO, the young defender Reda Benchaa signed for three years with the Dijon club. He arrived in May 2017, at the age of 15.

The young defender is on the rise

This is an important year for Reda Benchaa: after being called up for the first time for the match against Nîmes, he recently started for the first time in Ligue 2 against Le Havre. The DFCO press release refers to a player who “was able to show self-sacrifice to obtain playing time within the professional group”. For his part, the young man declared at the time of signing his contract to be “like in a dream”. He also expressed his happiness: “I feel a lot of pride. I’ve been working for this since I was little. Seeing his projects come to fruition is a great pleasure. […] From now on, the objective will be to chain the matches, to scratch playing time and to be good.“
