In total, 10,920 bottles will be marketed for the first year of marketing of this product designed in partnership by Karl Lepage and the Congèlerie Héritier, in Normandin.
Forget the taste of an aperitif wine, fortified wine, digestive or other sweet alcohol. The new B Sauvage red wine, made from local blueberries, is a classic thirst-quencher that looks a lot like the red wines consumers are used to, says project creator Karl Lepage.
“It’s a thirsty red wine,” he says, adding that the blueberry notes only appear on the finish.
