Fall in new constructions, decline in rentals, drop in real estate transactions… Housing is going through a new crisis. The government announced, Monday, June 5, an emergency plan by reviewing in particular the zero-rate loan.

To make it easier to access property, rent or simply find a roof, the government has just announced, Monday, June 5, its plan for the real estate sector. First objective: help the poorest, i.e. one million people in France, without housing. On the table, 160 million euros more than expected have been deposited. But for the Abbé Pierre foundation, the account is still not there.

Zero rate loan extended to 2027

Other chosen axis: encourage rental housing, known as “intermediate”, with more Visale guarantees, when the state stands surety for the buyer. For a promoter, the rental investment of households is not encouraged enough. Emphasis is also placed on access to property with a zero interest loan extended until 2027. At the same time, the real and solidarity lease is experiencing a boost.
