Raptors 101-76ers 104 | 76ers beat Raptors in overtime

(Philadelphia) Tobias Harris hit a three-point shot in overtime that put the 76 ahead for gooders of Philadelphia, who beat the Toronto Raptors 104-101 on Monday night.


Harris powered the 76ers ahead with 2:12 remaining in the extra period. He finished the game with 21 points and had five of his seven shots from beyond the arch.

Joel Embiid had 28 points, 11 rebounds and four assists for 76ers, who signed a fifth consecutive victory. James Harden added 14 points.

The Philadelphia squad have won the first five games of their seven-game home stint. She will face the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday and the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday.

The 76ers triumphed despite a superb performance by star Raptors winger Pascal Siakam, who had 38 points, 15 rebounds and six assists in addition to being effective defensively.

The Raptors used a 19-1 streak, which started late in the third quarter, to erase the 14-point lead that the 76ers had given themselves at the start of the third period.

Siakam sparked the Toronto comeback by scoring 10 of his squad’s 19 points.

It’s the sixth straight loss for the Raptors, who are now 13-18. They only made 42% of their shots from the floor and 11 of their 40 three-point attempts.

After Siakam’s 38 points, no other Raptors player has had more than 13 points. Fred VanVleet had just three of 15 shots from the floor, including two on 11 from the perimeter.
