Rape charges against Chris Noth | Sex and the City stars break the silence

(Los Angeles) The three main actresses of the series And Just Like That, the continuation of the phenomenon Sex and the City, reacted for the first time to the accusations of rape and sexual assault targeting their colleague Chris Noth, the famous “Mr. Big”, by saying they support the women who have spoken out against him.

“We are deeply sad to learn of the allegations against Chris Noth,” Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis said in a short statement posted Monday night on social media.

“We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be very difficult to do and we salute them for it, ”they added.

Chris Noth was initially charged with rape and assault by two women whose accounts were published on December 16 in The Hollywood Reporter.

Chris Noth plays “Mr Big” in Sex and the City and And Just Like That.

One of them says she was raped by Mr Noth, now 67, in 2004 at the actor’s apartment in West Hollywood. The other said he went on a date with him in New York in 2015. He then invited her to his apartment, where she claims she was assaulted.

A third woman then reported to the Daily Beast of a sexual assault in 2010.

The actor categorically denied the accusations and questioned when to release them to the public.

The first two accusers explained that the publicity surrounding the resumption of Sex and the City on HBO Max had “awakened painful memories,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Chris Noth recently found himself propelled into the headlines of the American media after the revival of the series and the death of his character on a stationary bike in the first episode.
