“When we spoke yesterday [vendredi]he told me that it was much better, he wants to train, “said the Mallorcan’s uncle, who claims that the 36-year-old player – who won his 14th last weeke Roland-Garros tournament — will resume the racket next week.
Nadal has suffered for years from Müller-Weiss syndrome, a degenerative and incurable disease which is characterized by the deformation of one of the bones of the foot.
The Spanish champion revealed that he had to play the Roland-Garros final with an anesthetized foot but that he was not ready to repeat the experience at Wimbledon.
