Radio | Paul Houde will chronicle at ICI Première

After losing his show at 98.5 FM, Paul Houde landed a microphone at Radio-Canada.

ICI Première listeners will be able to hear him on Fridays on Patrick Masbourian’s morning show, All one morning. He will hold his first column on September 2.

This is a reunion for Paul Houde and Patrick Masbourian. The two were among the collaborators of the cult show The end of the world is at 7 o’clock at TQS between 1997 and 2000.

Paul Houde will also contribute to the new meeting of Jean-Philippe Wauthier and company, The day (is still young)which will air on September 5.

He will perform his interventions on Tuesdays. This 30-minute daily will air weekdays at 1 p.m. Olivier Niquet will participate every day, while Jean-Sébastien Girard will be there “on occasion”.

The arrival of Paul Houde was revealed Monday by Radio-Canada, which launched the 2022-2023 programming of ICI Première. Paul Houde left 98.5 FM last June after a 15-year association. The Cogeco Media station did not renew its contract.

Radio-Canada wanted to retain the services of Paul Houde “for all the qualities of communicator that we know him to have”, we are told.

Édith Cochrane is a contributor to Pénélope McQuade’s morning show

Among the other novelties of ICI Première, note the arrival of Raymond Saint-Pierre, Edith Cochrane and Isabelle Brouillette in the team of collaborators of Pénélope McQuade, who resumed service Monday morning.

Émilie Perreault’s new show, There will always be culture, will air on September 5 at 1:30 p.m. For 90 minutes, the host will discuss literature, but also creation and art “in all their forms”. She will be surrounded by “culture enthusiasts”, including comedian Mariana Mazza, journalist Claudia Larochelle and author Heather O’Neil, specifies the public broadcaster.

We should also mention the arrival, on Tuesday September 6, of a new weekly literary program entitled tell me what you read, hosted by Karyne Lefebvre. On Wednesdays, Stéphane Leclair will be at the helm of the Great interviewsthen on Thursdays, Paul Journet and Rose-Aimée Autumn T. Morin will drive crazy ideas.

On the weekend, Marie-Louise Arsenault will present her new radio talk show, Everything can happen, starting Saturday, September 10 at 4 p.m. Jean-Philippe Cipriani, Anne Dorval, Nicolas Pham, Irdens Exantus, Raed Hammoud, Mathieu Belisle, Manal Drissi and Martine St-Victor will be among the collaborators.

Catherine Perrin will take the helm of Green lighta program devoted to the environment, on Sundays at 3 p.m.

Sunday, September 4 will mark the arrival of Johnny BBQ, a well-cooked meal piloted by Jean-Sébastien Girard at 5 p.m. Arnaud Soly, Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais, Mariana Mazza, Yannick de Martino, Marie-Lyne Joncas and Michelle Desrochers will undergo the shock treatment this fall. For her part, Rebecca Makonnen will drive at 6 p.m. Oil on the fire, which is described as an hour of “uninhibited” exchanges. The host will be surrounded by Christiane Charette, Catherine Éthier, Sophie Fouron, Sarah-Maude Beauchesne and Vanessa Destiné.
