A 16 year old young man was seriously injured in a road accident in Quebec, Sunday afternoon, when his motorcycle came into contact with a car.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Avenue des Hôtels, near Chemin Saint-Louis. When they arrived at the scene, the police found that the driver of the motorcycle was immobilized on the ground and had injuries in several places on his body.
The young man was conscious and breathing, but he was quickly transported to a hospital center. According to information from the Service de police de la Ville de Québec (SPVQ), the driver was in a condition considered unstable.
The driver of the car, a 33-year-old woman, was assessed by paramedics for possible nervous shock.
The SPVQ erected a vast perimeter around the scene of the accident with the help of the Ministère des Transports du Québec to secure certain accesses.
Investigators and technicians from the forensic identification unit were to go to the scene to shed light on the causes and circumstances of the accident.
According to initial information from the SPVQ, there is no indication that a criminal offense is linked to the accident.
