QUEBEC | Québec solidaire relies on a fast bus service as an alternative to the 3e CAQ link, in addition to promising a major improvement in public transit in Quebec City.

Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois and Manon Massé announced on Wednesday a $5.3 billion investment plan over eight years to create 10 transportation projects in the Capitale-Nationale region. The announcement took place on Promenade Champlain, at Quai des Cageux.
Thus, QS would create an SRB between downtown Lévis and western Quebec City, via the Quebec Bridge.
The group is also committed to resolutely supporting the current tramway project, in addition to continuing its development on a second line between Limoilou and Charlesbourg.
Two other SRB lines would be added in the axis of boulevard Charest and towards the northwest, passing through Vanier, Lebourgneuf and Neufchâtel.
Four segments of highways would become urban boulevards, namely Dufferin-Montmorency on the shores of Beauport Bay, Laurentien at the entrance to the lower town, Charest between the St-Sauveur district and the Robert-Bourassa highway and Robert -Bourassa near the University, south of Quatre-Bourgeois.
Another tram line would also be added to the airport.
The party was unable to provide further details before the official unveiling of the announcement.
