Health authorities report 1,687 hospitalizations, including 586 due to COVID-19, a decrease of 39 from the previous day.
Quebec also reports 9 additional deaths from the disease, and officially lists 837 new cases of COVID-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, 1,241,406 infections have been reported, and 17,253 of them have proven fatal.
