Quebec box office | 1995 off to a flying start

Released in theaters last Wednesday, the comedy 1995where Ricardo Trogi recounts his experience at the World destination race 1994-1995grossed $701,729 at the box office in five days.

In addition to having had a better start than the previous installments in the series, 1995 achieved the best start for a Quebec film since Liarcomedy by Émile Gaudreault released in July 2019.

“We knew that the film was highly anticipated and we are really delighted with the audience response. It is excellent news for Quebec cinema to see moviegoers from all over Quebec – and of all ages! – coming out for local cinema!” said Patrick Roy, President of Immina Films, in a press release.
