PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaïfi targeted by a complaint from his ex-butler for “hidden work” and “harassment”

“It’s a non-event”, reacted the lawyers of the president of PSG, who denounce a “desire to make a buzz to try to obtain undue advantages.”

A new case for Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. Hicham Karmoussi, ex-Moroccan butler of the boss of PSG, filed a complaint in Paris on Thursday March 23 against his ex-chief. In this simple complaint, of which AFP was aware, Hicham Karmoussi, 48, denounces concealed work, the employment of a foreigner without a work permit, moral harassment, psychological violence, threats and working conditions contrary to human dignity.

“Hicham Karmoussi has, for years, worked without a contract or residence permit for Mr. Al-Khelaïfi and at an unsustainable pace”his lawyer, Antoine Ory, told AFP.

“It’s a non-event, it’s part of the desire, since Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is someone known, to create buzz to try to obtain undue advantages”, reacted Renaud Semerdjian and Francis Szpiner, lawyers for the president of PSG. They threaten legal action in case of “disclosure of privacy information” of their client or of third parties.

Working conditions that “degrade” from 2015

Former professional tennis player like Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Hicham Karmoussi claims to have started in the mid-2000s to assist “NAK”, then to have worked for him “full time” from 2011, the year of the arrival of his boss at the head of PSG, all without an employment contract and residing at home.

His working and living conditions with Nasser Al-Khelaïfi “degrade” from 2015, he says again. After a first serious personal event affecting “NAK”, Hicham Karmoussi would have liked to resign, without succeeding.

The former butler told Mediapart that he took care of logistics, travel, but also the private life and the most sensitive meetings of the PSG boss. “Nasser had a secretary, but there were things the secretary didn’t know that I took care of”he explained to the investigative site.

Above all, he ensures that Nasser Al-Khelaïfi asked him to “clean the house” urgently in order to conceal possible evidence of infringements, on October 12, 2017, during the search at the request of the Swiss judicial authorities of the headquarters of BeIN Sports in Boulogne-Billancourt in the investigation into obtaining the media rights of the Cups football world 2026 and 2030. Hicham Karmoussi would then have “guard” at the request of his boss several media, including “a USB key containing many concluded contracts” with Jérôme Valcke, the former general secretary of Fifa, and “burned the rest of the documents”.
