A three-year investigation highlighted sometimes serious shortcomings on the part of private EHPADs. Among them, false advertising and promised services not provided.
For Lionel Sajovicanger still accompanies sadness when he thinks back to the death of his father Marcel in March 2020. He has the feeling of having been deceived by an EHPAD in the Paris region, whose service he considers disastrous. Yet he had confidently chosen him for his father. “We see beautiful photos of clean premises that look like a super well-kept establishment“, he shows. But despite 3,900 euros per month, the reality was very different. “They tell us a multidisciplinary team made up of a coordinating doctor, we have hardly ever seen it“, laments Lionel Sajovic.
