Police operation in progress: a secondary school in Saint-Raymond evacuated

A major deployment of police and firefighters is underway in a secondary school in Saint-Raymond, in Portneuf, where all staff and students have been evacuated.

Little information is currently known about the intervention, which began around noon at Louis-Jobin high school.

“The building was evacuated as a security measure, and checks are currently underway,” explains Geneviève Bruneau, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.

According to our information, it could be a bomb threat or the presence of a suspicious package. However, the provincial police force does not confirm this information at this time.
