Poehling and Norlinder recalled by the Canadian

The Canadian recalled forward Ryan Poehling and defenseman Mattias Norlinder late Wednesday.

The recall of an attacker became necessary after Dominique Ducharme announced, Wednesday noon, that Cédric Paquette would be absent for ten days, and that Jonathan Drouin would still be missing on Thursday.

In seven games with the Laval Rocket, Poehling has six points and shows a differential of -3. On Wednesday, he scored his third goal of the season grabbing a Cole Caufield shooting return on a 2-on-1 descent.

Norlinder’s recall was expected, as his American League fitness stint drew to a close. In three games with the Rocket, he got zero points and posted a -2 performance.
